Xbox 360 to get 3D gaming in next update

3D technology has finally made the jump to the Xbox 360, and will go live in the next firmware update coming in a few days time. It will bring stereoscopic 3D support to a few big titles, the first of them being Halo Anniversary.
Folks planning to enjoy 3D technology will need a 3D HD television to enjoy the new feature. If you can’t wait for the update, you could head over to the Halo Fest (going on now) and check out a preview at the LG Cinema 3D Experience booth.
PlayStation 3 fans have been able to enjoy 3D technology for almost a year now, so we’d like to know if it will help boost Xbox 360 sales or just become a fad after a while?
Two other titles that are expected to come in 3D format are Gears of War 3 and Batman Arkham. Once users get the update, they can enable the 3D setting in their Settings panel and input the size of the television set, but most likely the program will auto-detect the resolution.
