Twitter unveils new tracking tool

Twitter has announced yet another functionality for their service, this time allowing users to let other followers know your location. From what is gathered so far, it seems it can give a pin point location via GPS services. The feature can be turned on and off by choice and will be displayed separately so your precious 140 characters are not affected.

They have decided to go implement the new feature because of the fact that users around the world use Twitter quite frequently to tell others where they are located. However they advise users to be careful when using the feature and that they should turn it off when not needed, for safety reasons.
