Steve Jobs tops Barron’s 30 Most Respected CEOs list again

Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple has once again has topped the Barron’s Top 30 CEOs list for his innovation in the field and for keeping shareholders’ investments in prim and proper form. He was selected because of the number of successful inventions in the personal computing and mobile market. The development of the iPhone set the stage for a new ballgame, with new technology including 3GS, a super fast interface and the popular apps and app store. His significance is noted also when he was re-elected as CEO and was able to pull the company out of near doom (after he was initially ousted out by shareholders). Also when news of his health condition spread, share prices fell sharply, basically showing how much rested upon his shoulders.

On the listings, he is considered the Most Valuable CEO and was given this catch phrase – “From iPods to iPads, he mints money for shareholders”.
