iPhone OS 4.0 beta 2 + SDK released

Apple has officially release Beta 2 of their iPhone OS 4.0 and has also added Beta 2 of the Software Development Kit (SDK) for developers to have fun with. They have added 1500+ new APIs to work with, and the promise much more flexibility to design software that maximizes the functionality of the new OS on both the iPhone (3G and 3GS) and iPod Touch (2G and 3G).
If you are a developer, head over to the Apple site here for more details. The final release of OS 4.0 will go public during the summer for the iPhone and iPod Touch, while the iPad version will be made available in the fall.
